Multiprocess welding power source designed for primary power flexibility
- July 15, 2015

- Arc Welding
ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has introduced the Warrior™ 400i MV CC/CV, a multivoltage, multiprocess welding machine with the flexibility to accept three-phase primary power from 220 to 460 V +/- 10 percent, 50 or 60 Hz. The 133-lb. unit provides up to 400 amps at 60 percent duty cycle and has a total output of 5 to 400 amps.
The unit features a simple interface for process selection and adjustment with all controls, including the power switch, on the front panel. It welds 0.030- to 0.078-in. cored and solid wires. SCT technology provides an automatic burnback function that, after every stop, leaves the wire end ready for the next start.
