Weiler Abrasives expands small-diameter cutting wheel offering

Weiler Abrasives has expanded its line of small-diameter cutting and snagging wheels for high-speed die grinders to include Tiger® AO, Tiger Zirc, and Tiger Ceramic. They are available in 2- to 4-in.-dia. wheels with ¼- and 3/8-in. arbor hole sizes.

The AO cutting wheels feature an aluminum-oxide grain and provide even, sharp, clean cuts along with a hard bond to extend wheel life when cutting steel, says the company. The Zirc wheels, offered in 0.035-in. thickness, feature sharp, aggressive zirconia-alumina grains, suitable for cutting steels, including structural and cast iron. The Ceramic wheels with self-sharpening grains are designed to cut at low temperatures for processing stainless steel and hard-to-grind metals.
