UTE appoints sales manager
Universal Tool and Engineering Inc. (UTE), Johnson City, Tenn., has appointed Rick Ott as sales manager. He is responsible for national and international sales.
Ott has more than 25 years' experience in the tube and pipe fabricating industry. He worked for several domestic and international bender manufacturers before forming his own independent sales representative business, SpringBack Group Llc., in 1997.
Ott's background also includes 10 years on the board of directors and advisory capacity with the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Intl.® (FMA), and its technology affiliate, the Tube and Pipe Association Intl.® (TPA). He has authored articles about and chaired seminars on tube fabricating.
