- Tube and Pipe Fabrication
The organizing committee for Pipe & Tube Nashville 2012 requests papers and roundtable participants for its "Optimizing Operations Through Continuous Improvement" conference, to be held June 26-28, 2012. The show, devoted to updating seamless and welded tubular product technology and processes, is a collaboration of the Tube & Pipe Association International® (TPA), based in Rockford, Ill., and the U.K.-based International Tube Association (ITA).
The conference will include innovative sessions, interactive roundtables, video plant tours, and networking opportunities for industry professionals involved in tube or pipe production and fabrication.
The committee will accept papers on any topic concerning tube or pipe production and fabrication. The four roundtable discussion topics are bending; GTAW versus multicathode, GTAW versus GTAW-plasma, and GTAW versus laser welding; roll tooling design; and methods of inline annealing following tube mill welding.
Tube and pipe executives interested in submitting a paper or participating in a roundtable discussion should visit the conference Web site at www.pipetubeconf.com/nashville, click on Speaker Information, and download the appropriate application.
