European Heathyards earns ASME U Stamp accreditation

West Midlands, U.K.-based tube manipulation, fabrication, and pressure vessel manufacturer European Heathyards has announced that it has received ASME U Stamp accreditation from the American Society for Mechanical Engineers. The accreditation indicates that the manufacturer can demonstrate that its pressure vessel manufacturing process is in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes of Practice.

The recognition follows six months' preparation and an in-depth audit both by ASME and Lloyds Register. The company was required to demonstrate competency in design; generating and implementing manufacturing procedures; and showing complete traceability with respect to all project-specific variables such as materials, consumables, welder, and NDT operative certification within its manufacturing processes.
