RathGibson acquires Greenville Tube Co.

RathGibson, Janesville, Wis., has acquired Greenville Tube Co., Greenville, Pa., a supplier of specialty stainless steel and nickel-alloy tubing to the oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, transportation, agriculture, medical, and food and beverage industries.

Greenville Tube was founded in 1950 and has a 110,000-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Clarksville, Ark. The company's product offerings include seamless, welded, drawn, and as-welded tubing in both straight lengths and coils. Its management team and the company name remain intact.

RathGibson, a global supplier of engineered stainless steel, nickel, and titanium tubing, is owned by Castle Harlan Partners IV, an affiliate of Castle Harlan Inc., a private equity investment firm in New York.
