Universal Tube & Rollform completes roll form line
Universal Tube & Rollform Equipment Corp., Perrysburg, Ohio, in cooperation with Universal Controls Group, has completed a roll form line for the Batesville Casket Co.
The line comprises a Tishken 25-ton prepunch with feeder, a Tishken MW2 roll former, and a Tishken cutoff with a U-Trak length control system from Universal Controls. The line produces a proprietary part made of light-gauge metal that requires prepunching a slot and then dropping the cutoff blade through the same slot for a burr- and deformation-free cut.
