December 11, 2007

The AMSAW® S300 automatic sawing system from Advanced Machine & Engineering Co., designed for cutting ferrous and nonferrous materials, has a capacity of 3 in. to 12 in. and utilizes saw blade diameters from 24 in. to 36 in.

A 60-HP/4-kW spindle motor is provided with simplified controls. The hardened spindle gears are designed to minimize backlash. Length accuracy is 0.005 in.

The system allows cut lengths up to 30 in. and multi-indexing when the length exceeds 30 in. It accommodates cermet or carbide-tipped blades, disposable blades, and blades that can be ground. An automatic bar loading table enables unattended sawing.

The system can be designed and built to fit customer-specific requirements.
