Steel shaft collars useful for creating custom components
Stafford Mfg. Corp. manufactures a line of AISI steel shaft collars that can be welded to create custom components such as lever arms and adjustable sprocket mounts.
Users can weld the collars—which are machined from AISI 1018 steel—using any welding process, according to the manufacturer. Standard one- and two-piece styles and sizes from 1/4 in. to 6 in. ID are available; they can be specially supplied up to 16 in. ID.
The collars are suitable for custom fabricating a range of mechanical and structural components. Applications include lever arms; adjustable gear, pulley, and sprocket mounts; and structural components such as brackets and supports.
