Viking’s MR6016 monorail blaster offers 60- by 16-in. blast zone

Viking Blast & Wash Systems has released the MR6016 monorail blast system with a blast zone of 60 in. tall by 16 in. wide. Parts are presented to the blast wheels, arranged to expose all surfaces of the work, with a customer-provided monorail conveyor. As parts pass through, the four 15-HP VK PowerMax 1500 direct-drive blast wheels deliver high-volume abrasive at 300-FPS velocity to clean the parts.

The unit can be fitted with a rotary scalping drum; auxiliary abrasive hoppers; and 20-, 25-, or 30-HP blast wheels. NFPA-required deflagration panels are standard.
