Manchester Tool & Die celebrates 60 years

Manchester Tool & Die Inc. marks its 60th year in business in 2020. Glen Blocher founded the company in 1960 as a job shop; by the mid-1960s, he had built the company’s first tube end forming machine.

The company now occupies a 65,000-sq.-ft. facility in North Manchester, Ind., under the management of a third generation of the Blocher family. Its standard tube end forming machines have OD capacities from 3/16 to 3 in. The firm also provides steel fabricating and production machining services.
