Addition Mfg. Technologies expands U.K. operation
Tube bending and end forming technology provider Addition Mfg. Technologies has expanded its production capabilities by adding a manufacturing cell for consumable bending tools at its facility in Preston, U.K.
The company has installed Haas and Mazak machines to manufacture consumable tooling components, such as wiper inserts and mandrel balls and noses, that are more rapidly consumed during the bending process than hard tools. The production cell can machine parts of aluminum bronze and tool steel with chrome.
