BLM Group USA to host INTUBE 2018 open house at new facility
BLM Group USA will host its biennial open house, INTUBE, at its new, 75,000-sq.-ft. facility in Novi, Mich., May 8-17. During this event the company will showcase equipment for laser tube and flat sheet cutting, tube and wire bending, end forming, end machining, and cold sawing.
The theme of the open house, “Future is Calling,” reflects the company’s focus on the concepts of Industry 4.0, including greater efficiencies and leaner processes.
The company will introduce the Lasertube LT7 at the event. Visitors will see practical examples of automated laser tube cutting and bender loading and unloading. Applications specialists will demonstrate the firm’s BLMelements proprietary software suite for designing, programming, and planning tube and sheet fabrication production. The software also allows for remote machine monitoring, collects operating statistics, and receives real-time notifications of events that may require attention.
