Epic Piping plans $40 million expansion

Epic Piping, an industrial pipe systems manufacturer in Baton Rouge, La., has announced it is investing up to $40 million to expand its manufacturing facilities and administrative offices to increase production capacity amid growing customer demand for specialized pipe spool products in the U.S. and abroad.

The investment will increase the company’s global production footprint, which currently comprises more than 1 million sq. ft. of dedicated manufacturing space in three facilities in North America and Asia, by 30 percent while also increasing its workforce to about 2,000 employees. This capacity increase will allow the company to produce larger diameters and perform heavier pipe fabrication.
