HGG wins 2017 Smart Manufacturing Award

HGG Profiling Equipment, Medina, Ohio, a supplier of pipe cutting machines, robotic profile cutting lines, and associated cutting equipment, has received the Dutch Royal Metal Union’s 2017 Smart Manufacturing Award. The award recognizes HGG’s constant process improvement through innovation, digitalization, and automation.
Smart manufacturing examples at HGG include 3-D printing to facilitate faster prototyping, robotic technology improvements resulting in robots that are 10 times more accurate, and customer delivery times that have been reduced from 28 weeks to 6 weeks.
