Unison delivers seventh tube bender to Sharpe Products
U.K.-based Unison Ltd. has delivered an all-electric tube bender to Sharpe Products, a tube and pipe fabricator in New Berlin, Wis. This is the seventh Unison machine that Sharpe has acquired.
The Breeze 3-in., CNC, multistack, 3-axis bending machine handles tubes up to 3 in. dia. It holds several tools on the machine for multiradius parts or to reduce tool changeover times and is fitted with high-torque servomotors to accommodate challenging materials. The machine features a swing-away wiper die servo axis to enable short final straight part designs to be manufactured without postbend trimming operations.
Sharpe Products offers custom pipe and tube bending, rolling, and laser cutting services.
