Unison installs Breeze pipe benders at Stauff

Stauff, a manufacturer and supplier of precision fluid power products, has purchased two new Unison Breeze 35-mm (maximum pipe diameter) left- and right-hand pipe bending machines. One machine has been installed at Stauff’s manufacturing site in Sheffield, U.K., the other at its production facility in Sydney, New South Wales.
The machines are used to manufacture small-run, complex components, such as hydraulic lines for braking systems. They bend aluminum, corrosion-resistant steel, and exotic alloys in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The benders are equipped with Opt2Sim, Unison’s design-for-manufacture CAD tube bending simulation software.
