Victaulic acquires Utility Coatings & Fabrication

Victaulic, a manufacturer of mechanical pipe joining, fire protection, and flow control systems in Easton, Pa., has acquired Utility Coatings & Fabrication Inc., West Jordan, Utah. The acquisition supports the company’s growth in the infrastructure, waterworks, energy, and commercial construction markets by increasing capacity for large-diameter piping systems, fabrication, and coatings and linings capabilities in the U.S.

The acquisition includes more than 21,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space. Since 2011, Victaulic has added more than 1.4 million sq. ft. of foundry and manufacturing capacity in North America.
