Wire and Tube Southeast Asia 2019 welcomes 10 percent more visitors

The recent staging of wire and Tube Southeast Asia 2019 in Bangkok included 376 exhibitors from 29 countries presenting wire, cable, tube, and pipe manufacturing machinery to a record 9,184 visitors from 59 nations. This marks a 10 percent increase in visitor participation compared to the 2017 staging.

More than 96 percent of exhibiting companies came from outside Thailand and included eight national and country group exhibits from Austria, China, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Singapore, Taiwan, and the U.S. On the visitor side, 45 percent traveled to Bangkok from overseas, with the majority coming from Malaysia, India, China, Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore.

The exhibits were supported by a comprehensive ancillary program comprising training courses, seminars, and technical presentations that attracted more than 700 attendees.
