Ascent Industries appoints president of Ascent Tubular
Ascent Industries Co., Oak Brook, Ill., a producer and distributor of steel tubular products and specialty chemicals, has appointed John W. Johnson as president of Ascent Tubular.
Johnson has more than 20 years of leadership experience across a variety of global industrial-focused companies. Most recently, he served as the senior vice president and global general manager of Corrpro, a subsidiary of Aegion Corp. Before that, he held senior-level roles at Shawcor, Weatherford Intl., Energy Alloys, and National Oilwell Varco.
