Bull Moose Tube announces partnership to sell jumbo HSS

Bull Moose Tube Co., a subsidiary of Caparo Bull Moose, has announced an exclusive partnership with Mitsui & Co. (U.S.A.) Inc., MM&KENZAI Corp., and Nippon Steel Metal Products Co. Ltd. to sell jumbo hollow structural sections (HSS) into the U.S. market.

In addition to offering 14-in. square and rectangular equivalents up to 0.750-in. wall, Bull Moose will now offer 16- to 22-in. square HSS up to 0.875-in. wall thickness, and rectangles as large as 24 by 12 in. and 0.750-in. wall to ASTM A500 and CSA G40 specifications.

Common applications include large, long-span warehouses and distribution centers; airports; stadiums; parking garages; and structures that require high-strength/low-weight HSS support for heavy loads.

Based in Chesterfield, Mo., Bull Moose Tube operates eight plants in North America: Chicago Heights, Ill.; Elkhart, Ind.; Gerald, Mo.; Masury, Ohio; Trenton, Ga.; Casa Grande, Ariz.; Sinton, Texas; and Burlington, Ont.
