Fives to supply Bronx tube straighteners to two China companies
Industrial engineering group Fives will supply a customized Bronx hot pipe straightener to Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., a subsidiary of China Baowu Steel Group, for its seamless mill in Shanghai. The six-roll machine is designed to straighten high-yield and thick-walled seamless tube and pipe products up to 197 mm dia. It can process both plain and upset pipes.
Fives also will supply two Bronx straightening machines to Zhejiang Jiuli Hi-Tech Metals for its Huzhou facility. Jiuli is a private company that manufactures stainless and high-alloy piping and tubular products for different industries. The six-roll and 10-roll machines will process high-yield, seamless, thick-walled, large-diameter tubular products.
