Lock Joint Tube to expand in Texas

Lock Joint Tube, a manufacturer of mechanical-grade steel tubing based in South Bend, Ind., with locations in Ohio, Texas, and Tennessee, has announced plans to expand its presence in Texas. The new facility will add 37,500 sq. ft. and build upon the company’s capabilities in the solar sector.

“The growth in solar is great for Lock Joint Tube and our country as we continue to look for clean energy,” said Kevin Marks, president. “The new tube mill will not only increase our capacity but capabilities as well.”

The company provides different sizes and shapes of hot-rolled, cold-rolled, aluminized, and galvanized steel tubing to fabricators, distributors, and OEMs in the solar, automotive, office furniture, health care, exercise, and display fixture industries.
