Regiopytsa expands production with Thermatool HF welding machine, flying shear cutoff

North American structural and mechanical tube producer Regiopytsa has selected Thermatool to provide another welding machine and cutoff for its new mill project.

The Thermatool CFI high-frequency welding machine helps increase electrical efficiency, reduce scrap, and maximize production yields, the

manufacturer states. The solid-state equipment offers precisely controlled power and a stable welding frequency, even with changes in the weld area setup, tube OD, wall thickness, and impeder material.

The Alpha Mach 2 flying shear cutoff for in-line tube cutting enables the tube producer to achieve fast cutting speeds, close-tolerance cut lengths, and long blade life.

“We are committed to producing high-quality tube and pipe with the purpose of generating value for our customers. We do this by continuously improving our processes and investing in equipment that is solid and reliable,” said Gerardo Luevano, general director at Regiopytsa. “This purchase will allow us to expand our business and support our customers for years to come.”
