- News Release
- Tube and Pipe Production
Collegeville, Pa.-based Superior Tube, a manufacturer of seamless and welded tubes, straight lengths, and coils in stainless steel, nickel, titanium, and zirconium, has been awarded Nadcap accreditation for heat treating.
The accreditation is awarded based on one of the aerospace industry’s most stringent process capability assessment audits, according to the Performance Review Institute, which administers the accreditation.
Bill Keohane, director of quality and new product development, said, “We have had Nadcap accreditation for our nondestructive testing program for many years and also for our quality system, but this is the first time we have gained the accreditation for our heat-treatment processes.”
