Thermatool HCT HF welding machines to help global tubing producer meet green goals
Thermatool recently installed three HAZControl Technology (HCT) high-frequency, solid-state welding machines at a global steel and tubing producer’s locations in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. The company has been investing in Thermatool solid-state HF welding equipment for more than three decades.
The new machines are designed to increase productivity and reduce electricity usage, which will help this producer of automotive tubing, specialized tubing, and hollow structural sections achieve its goal to decrease CO2 emissions intensity by 25% by 2030 on a global scale and achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
