Two-edge cutter blades from Esco Tool provide twice the welding pipe prep cutting
Esco Tool has developed a line of two-edge cutter blades that insert into cartridge holders for use with its MILLHOG line of welding end prep tools.
The MILLHOG Razorback Cartridge series blades mount with a set screw into a cartridge holder and can be flipped over easily from one cutting edge to the other for a fresh cutting surface. Standard blade inserts fit into the cartridges, which include 30-, 37-1/2-, and 10-degree bevels and a 90-degree flat-facing type.
Made from T-15 tool steel and TiN coated, the blades can pull a thick chip without cutting oils. Hard lube blades also are offered for highly alloyed materials.
