FT-150 Fiber laser cutting machine from Mazak Optonics handles small-, medium-diameter tubes

Mazak Optonics Corp. has introduced the FT-150 Fiber laser cutting machine for processing small- to medium-diameter tubes.
Features include a proprietary agile U-axis, a 2.5D cutting head with focus detection, and a programmable B-axis angle. It offers extrusion tapping, which uses a rotary spindle and eight tool positions. Any tool position can be deployed for direct tapping or combined with extrusion, providing proper thread depth.
Options include a spatter guard, part sorting system with dual belt conveyors, and weld seam detection camera.
