Square, rectangular plug assemblies aid plasma cutting of nonround tube

Bend-Tech square plugs

Bend-Tech has introduced square and rectangular plug assemblies for plasma cutting aluminum and stainless nonround tube and pipe. Designed for the company’s Coolant Support System, they are available in a variety of shapes and sizes and feature a durable plastic frame with a replaceable rubber gasket.

The plugs are designed with a wingnut that, when tightened, exerts pressure to expand the flexible gasket and create a secure fit inside the tube or pipe. The coolant hose then connects to the plug, allowing coolant flow through the tube for improved-quality cutting.
