Olympus IPLEX GAir long videoscope inspects complex piping systems

The IPLEX GAir long videoscope from Olympus combines maneuverability with wide-view images for complex pipe inspections. Its pneumatic articulation enables maneuverability at distances up to 30 m with outstanding image quality, says the manufacturer.

The videoscope’s guide head is designed to slide easily through pipe joints, while pneumatic articulation provides fine control, even when the 30-m insertion tube is fully extended. A gravity sensor automatically rotates the onscreen image regardless of the scope’s orientation, while the insertion length indicator tracks how far the videoscope has been extended.

The videoscope’s image sensor, ultrabright LED illumination, and image processing software provide wide-view images. For an even wider view, an optional 220-degree fish-eye optical tip adapter is available.
