Airmo introduces SelectForm 400 hydraulic power pack for use with end forming tools

Airmo Inc. has introduced the SelectForm model 400 hydraulic power pack, designed with valves and circuitry to operate the company’s hand-held and modular end forming tools.

The standard model comes with an integral oil-to-air heat exchanger for cooling the hydraulic fluid to provide a continuous duty cycle. A new, integrated PLC allows the operator to perform multiswitching of tools to help improve end forming efficiency.

Tool mounting can be customized, or tools can be mounted to the top of the hydraulic power pack using optional stand and clamps. The user inserts the tube into the tool and actuates the electronically operated foot switch. The system cycles automatically, producing a finished form in two to five seconds.
