BLM GROUP adds Active Tools to LT Fiber EVO and LT722D laser systems

BLM GROUP has enhanced its LT Fiber EVO and CO2-type LT722D automatic laser tube cutting systems, which process special sections and open shapes up to 6.0 in. dia., with Active Tools. These tools automatically adapt process parameters for optimal results regardless of operator experience.

They include Active Tilt, which uses focus head movement to provide fast processing of small features; Active Scan, which eliminates errors induced by distorted tubes; Active Weld, which adapts laser cutting parameters to ensure continuity and perfect scrap detachment in consideration of bigger weld seams; Active Focus for error-free cuts regardless of changes of material and thickness; Active Marking for dynamic part marking for production traceability; Active Speed to help ensure high cutting quality on critical jobs; and Active Piercing, which increases piercing speed and reliability even on inconsistent material quality and thickness.
