Esco Tool’s C-HOG MILLHOG beveler for sanitary tubing performs end preps for orbital welding
Esco Tool offers the C-HOG MILLHOG OD-clamping end prep tool. It mounts to the outside of sanitary tubing to maintain the integrity of the tube interior and operates without cutting fluids to prevent contamination.
Designed for use on thin-wall tubing, the tool evenly distributes holding power along the tube exterior. It fits tube and pipe from 0.5-in. ID to 3-in. OD, and the consistency of the land makes it suitable for orbital welding end preps.
Available with cutter blades for performing any angle of prep, including J-preps, the tool can bevel, face, and bore simultaneously. Featuring a 1.75-in.-wide body and a 120- or 220- to 240-V electric motor, it has an attached feed wrench.
