Lang Tube Tec’s Ondomat 2.0 bends tubes without mandrel

Lang Tube Tec has introduced the Ondomat 2.0, a fully electric tube and profile bending machine that bends in the vertical direction without a mandrel. It features a CNC axis, making it suitable for a variety of uses.

In addition to individual bends, the bender can perform up to three bends in a single step and process several different components at the same time. The bending angle is freely programmable.

The machine can be operated manually but also features an interface that enables it to be operated together with a cobot or as an entirely unattended production cell. An extensive selection of modules allows the machine to be adapted to the user’s needs.

The integrated Siemens Simatic S7-1500 controller enables the entire setup cycle to be completed automatically. The space-saving design simplifies access for servicing. In addition, the low-noise bender cuts energy consumption by 65%, according to the company.
