Pipe bender and ring roller offered

Carell's new ETM-90HD rotary compression tube/pipe bender, built from solid alloy steel (no castings), incorporates a new digital touchscreen programmer (40 programs of five bends each) with capacity calculator showing section modulus and minimum expected bend radius. The drive arbor accepts a variety of tool sizes with CLRs of 2.4 to 19.5 in. The 1,250-lb. machine bends 3.50-in.-OD by 0.216-in. tube and 3-in. Sch. 40 pipe. Solid steel tooling is built in-house for rapid delivery.

The new HT2R high-speed ring roller produces precision rings in 5 sec. with two cantilevered shafts, part ejector, and infeed guide. Rings form around an interchangeable top mandrel. The mobile lower roll, in nonmarring urethane, forms various material types, even with voids or perforations. It produces zero-flat end rings using a programmable HMI-PLC. Autoloading systems are available. At 2,600 lbs., the ring roller requires 5 by 5 ft. of shop space and uses strip to 8 in. wide.
