Pipe Clip from InfoSight attaches tags to pipe and tube products
- February 25, 2019
- Product Release
- Tube and Pipe Fabrication
InfoSight Corp. has introduced the Pipe Clip for attaching metal tags to pipe or tube without welding or bands. It attaches the tag securely to the product in seconds for product identification.
The clip is made of heavy-gauge wire. A tab on the clip inserts into an opening in the tag to secure the metal tag to the clip. Bent points on the back side of the clip grip the pipe to prevent slipping. The clip tightly presses the metal tag to the surface of the product to prevent peeling.
Products can be moved, stacked, and processed normally and the tag will not tear or detach, the company reports. It is designed to withstand high temperatures, acids, and hot dips.
Various widths are available to accommodate different wall thicknesses.
