WAFIOS BMZ 6 delivers programmable 3D CNC bending of small tubes

The new BMZ 6 CNC tube bender from WAFIOS has been developed for very small parts, such as those used in medical technology for cannulas.

The compact machine can bend small parts from tube or wire up to an OD of 6 mm. The modular design enables the production of highly complex component geometries by combining different bending processes. For example, closed bends with 360 degrees can be wound around a mandrel, or large radii can be produced by free-form bending. The machine also is designed to allow the integration of further processing steps, such as end forming.

With the iQinspect software option, external measuring devices can be connected directly to the bender. The automatic correction of the bending program based on the measurement results helps the operator set up even complex geometries quickly.
