Production cell offers automatic production of tubes in small quantities

transfluid® Maschinenbau GmbH has developed technology that allows automatic production of tubes in small quantities. It was developed as a coordinated automation system for a specific application of processing chromium VI-free coated tubes, as well as tubes with powder-coated surfaces.

After the separation process, the workpiece can be loaded into a slide conveyor for automatic loading. For powder-coated tubes, separate loading is provided, because only small quantities are loaded to prevent surface damage. An integrated axial forming machine creates geometries or hose connections. On a second forming machine, the flanges necessary for some components can be loaded and attached. The tubes then are positioned in a bending machine, bent, and unloaded. A robot performs all handling, from separation to the individual machines.
