Redwire acquires Made In Space

Redwire, Jacksonville, Fla., has announced its acquisition of Made In Space Inc. (MIS). The acquisition also includes Made In Space Europe, based in Luxembourg and a sister company to the U.S. organization, which provides space-capable robotic systems to the global space industry.

Redwire is a provider of mission-critical space systems and high-reliability components. MIS, a provider of space manufacturing technologies, is the first commercial company to additively manufacture in space. With a focus on industrializing the space environment, MIS specializes in on-orbit manufacturing, space-enabled materials development, and exploration manufacturing technology.
