Fabricating a Grand Prix race car wheel into a coffee table
To tell the story of the Belle Isle race, the grim and scratches remain on the Cadaillac wheel
My friend Charles had this wheel from a Cadillac race car that participated in the Belle Isle Grand Prix in Detroit. He wanted to preserve the dirt and scratches to tell the history of the car's race, but also wanted it converted into a coffee table for his private garage at M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Mich.
