FKI Logistex North America names divisional presidents

FKI Logistex®, a supplier of integrated material handling systems in St. Louis, Mo., has appointed three senior executives to its North American management team, naming them as presidents of its new customer-facing divisions.
Dave Baker has been named Manufacturing System Division president. Baker has held several positions at FKI Logistex Alvey Systems over the past 15 years, most recently as the CFO of the company's Alvey Systems, White Systems, and Cleco Systems Inc. groups. He now is responsible for driving growth of the company's manufacturing market presence.
Baker holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University.
John Kelly has been named president of the Airport, Post, and Parcel Division. Kelly has more than 19 years' experience with the FKI group of companies, most recently as president of the company's Crisplant Inc. and LogiLearn units. In his new position, he manages the company's expansion in the airport, post, and parcel markets.
Kelly began his career in auditing and accounting in the company's U.S. corporate headquarters, later joining its Babcock unit as financial reporting manager. In 1995 he was promoted to division controller of Mathews Conveyer. Kelly has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Connecticut.
John Westendorf, a four-year veteran of the company, has been appointed president of the company's Warehouse and Distribution Division. Previously he served as CEO of the company's Automation Division. Westendorf now directs the company's efforts in providing total system programs for the warehouse and distribution markets.
Before joining the company, Westendorf held senior international sales and management positions within Rockwell Intl., BTR plc, and Invensys plc. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Tech University.
