Hypertherm Associates implements Rapyuta Robotics AMRs in warehouse

AMRs at the Hypertherm Associates warehouse.

Hanover, N.H.-based Hypertherm Associates, a manufacturer of industrial cutting systems and software, has implemented Rapyuta Robotics pick-assist autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in its warehousing operation.

Performing picking in collaboration with warehouse associates, the AMRs combine technologies such as optimal route planning with multirobot coordination AI, picker guidance system, and fleet management. AI suggests the shortest picking routes and handles the transportation of items. The AMRs pick and transport materials safely and integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure, the company states.
