Jason Industries announces merger of Morton Mfg. and Metalex

Milwaukee-based Jason Industries, parent company to a global family of manufacturers in the seating, finishing, components, and automotive acoustics markets, has announced that two of its companies—Morton Mfg. Co., a Libertyville, Ill.-based manufacturer of industrial safety grating and railroad running boards, and Metalex Corp., a manufacturer of perforated metals, perforated tubes, and expanded metal products also in Libertyville—have merged operations and now are doing business under the Metalex name.

Previous teams and processes remain in place, and the merged company continues to offer the same products and services.
