Kaiser Aluminum promotes marketing executives

Kaiser Aluminum has promoted Ron Weiss Jr., to marketing director for flat-rolled products and Tim Donnelly to national product manager for tube and pipe products.
Based at the company's Trentwood, Wash., rolling mill, Weiss is responsible for inside sales, pricing, and market growth for the company's heat-treated flat-rolled products. Previously he was marketing manager for tube and pipe products, a position he assumed when he joined the company in 2002.
Before joining the company, Weiss spent 12 years in the steel industry in various sales and product management positions in plate and sheet products with Lukens Steel and Bethlehem Steel. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University.
Based at the company's Bellwood, Va., operation, Donnelly is responsible for marketing and pricing tube and pipe products and for asset utilization of associated production facilities at Bellwood and at the Chandler, Ariz., and Richland, Wash., plants. He has held various sales and management positions since joining the company in 1997. Most recently he was sales manager for aerospace products.
Before joining the company, Donnelly was a product manager with the metals technology firm Heraeus and also had served as a plant metallurgist for General Motors in St. Catharines, Ontario. He has a degree in metallurgical engineering and materials technology from Sir Sanford Fleming College in Peterborough, Ontario, and also is a certified quality engineer with the American Society for Quality.
