Atema names safety director

Chicago-based Atema Inc., a private consulting firm that provides quality management and certification for the structural steel industry, has hired Tim Neubauer as safety director.

Neubauer, a former senior consultant for the National Safety Council, has more than 15 years of field experience as a safety director in the construction industry. He has served as safety coordinator, safety manager, safety trainer, and safety director for several different companies, focusing primarily on the construction industry, specifically steel erection and concrete.

Neubauer is a Construction Health and Safety Technician® (CHST), Manager of Environmental Safety and Health (MESH) and CMESH, an Advance Safety Certificate (ASC) graduate, and a member of the ASSE.
