Honda Power Equipment Mfg. celebrates 30 years of production with $8.5 million capital investment

Honda Power Equipment Mfg. marked the 30th anniversary of operations at its Swepsonville, N.C., facility by announcing an $8.5 million investment to innovate production processes and add new products. The investment includes a new line for producing two-stage snow blowers and preparation for adding generators to the production lineup.

The Swepsonville plant, which employs more than 600 associates, has produced more than 30 million products using domestic and globally sourced parts during its 30-year history.
