Inalfa Roof Systems to create 300 jobs in Georgia

Inalfa Roof Systems, a provider of vehicle roofing systems with North American headquarters in Auburn Hills, Mich., has announced plans to open a manufacturing plant in Cherokee County, Ga. The $17.1 million investment is expected to create 300 jobs.

The company supplies sunroofs and open roofing systems for automotive manufacturers such as Hyundai Kia, Ford, General Motors, Volvo, Chrysler Group, and BMW Group. The new facility is the company's fourth in the U.S.

The plant is projected to begin operating in January 2014.
