Marlin Steel wins 2012 Inner City 100 Award

Marlin Steel, a Baltimore-based manufacturer of custom wire baskets and sheet metal fabrications, has been selected for a 2012 Inner City 100 Award by the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC). The award spotlights the fastest-growing companies in America’s inner cities.

The list of winners, chosen from among 1,000 nominees, will appear in Fortune magazine. The awards will be presented on May 9 in Boston.

The ICIC is a nonprofit research and strategy organization founded in 1994 by Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter to support economic growth in urban areas.
