Poynter Sheet Metal expands in Indiana

Poynter Sheet Metal Inc., Greenwood, Ind., has announced plans for a $4.2 million expansion of its headquarters to accommodate a new manufacturing unit. The new business unit will occupy a $3.6 million, 54,000-sq.-ft. addition to the company’s 100,000-sq.-ft. headquarters, producing prefabricated bathrooms for commercial and residential use.

The company expects to purchase about $600,000 in equipment for the new operations and to add 40 employees by 2021. Operations are scheduled to begin in June 2020.
