Vance Metal marks 135 years in business
Geneva, N.Y.-based Vance Metal, a large-capacity metal fabricator and weld shop, celebrates 135 years of business in 2015.
The company was founded Aug. 7, 1880, when James R. Vance started Vance Boiler Works with a newly patented boiler. The company made its first winery tank in the early 1990s and now builds tanks for distilleries, wineries, breweries, and cider houses.
To mark its anniversary, the employee-owned company has established a new logo, videos, and a new website.
